This Weekend: Parade of Lights, Events & Street Closures

Downtown’s 17th Annual Parade of Lights, Sat, Dec 17

The streets of Downtown light up with over 60 participants for this Tucson tradition! Join us to celebrate the holiday season. Bring a chair and find a great spot anywhere along the route for the best views or get there early and get a bleacher seat at Armory Park. The parade begins at 17th Street & Stone Avenue, winds around Downtown and ends at 13th Street & 6th Avenue.

View the map below. The parade begins at 6:30pm. Street closures start at approximately 4pm.

6th Avenue is closed from 4pm to 9pm between Broadway Blvd. and 17th St. Streets are expected to be open by 9pm at the latest. Please note that side streets along the route will be closed for the duration of the parade. Staging takes place between 5th & 6th Avenues from 13th-17th Street.
