Music, Not Traffic, on Scott & 5th Avenues for 2nd Saturday

On Saturday, January 14, Scott and 5th Avenues between Congress and Broadway will be closed from 9 a.m. until 5 a.m. the next morning for 2nd Saturdays.

The sounds of award-winning jazz and a “spot on” Beatles tribute will drift over Downtown Tucson for the popular event. The free, outdoor  Scott Avenue Stage, just south of Broadway Boulevard, features some of Tucson’s best woman-fronted bands. The line-up includes Mitzi Cowell & The Valiants, Heather “Lil Mama” Hardy Band, The Last Call Girls.

On the free, outdoor 5th Avenue Stage from 4pm-9pm is Southwest Soul Circuit, featuring and hosted by Kevin & Tanishia Hamilton.
