World of Health Resource Fair Coming to Children’s Museum

Children and their families are invited to participate in the Wealth of Health resource fair taking place at the Children’s Museum Tucson on Saturday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event will feature healthy, hands-on activities such as rock climbing, Wii fitness games as well as an interactive musical performance by Planet Djembe, a local traditional West African music and dance group who perform high energy African Dance Rhythms.

Admission will be free that day, sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of Arizona.

Participating organizations include Build-a-Bear Workshop, CHIP Program, CPES Loving Hearts Foster Care, El Rio Community Healthcare Center, General Dentistry 4 Kids, Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, Gold’s Gym Downtown, O2 Modern Fitness, Pima Community Access Program, Pima County Health Department, Southwest Ambulance, Tucson Medical Center, United Healthcare Community Plan, University Family Care and the YMCA Rock Wall.

The Children’s Museum is located at 200 South 6th Avenue.
