Beer Tastings at Hotel Congress are Back in Time for Summer

There’s nothing like a tall cold one on a hot summer day! Starting this May, the summer beer tastings and dinners at Hotel Congress are back by popular demand. Last summer, Hotel Congress answered to sold out crowds of beer-lovers, who tasted brews and noshed on substantial snacks from Cup Café. This year’s summer schedule kicks off on May 18, with a tasting of sour beers led by Bruce Jacobs of Pitcher of Nectar distributors.
Tastings are every Saturday at 5pm in the Club. The $20 fee covers samples of 5-6 beers, food, and one on one time with guest presenters and Hotel Congress Beverage Director David Torkko.
Starting in June, the last Saturday of the month will feature a beer dinner with at least four courses paired with brews for $50/person (tax and gratuity additional). Guests can buy a package of four tastings of their choice at a discounted price of $75. Tastings are limited to 48 people. For reservations, call Hotel Congress front desk at (520) 622-8848.
