It’s that’s time of year again, ladies and gents! Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Chocolates, stuffed animals and cards with flowery language are all on the list, but have you made plans for dinner? No? It’s cool. Don’t panic. Here are some Downtown Tucson spots offering some romantic and fun Valentine’s Day specials.

Cup Cafe
311 East Congress Street

The CupIf all you need in this life of sin is you and your special someone, then why not get dolled up and plan your evening at Hotel Congress’ Cup Cafe? Their Bonnie and Clyde Valentine’s Day specials includes a delectable entree appropriately called the Bonnie and Clyde, which serves up filet mignon and grilled scallops for two with truffle balsamic, grilled asparagus, apple and bacon risotto and fennel salad.

And because there’s nothing better than strawberries covered in other types of goodness, Cup Cafe will also be offering what they call an Ode to Strawberries: chocolate covered strawberries, strawberry shortcake and strawberry cheesecake bites. Just what Dr. Cupid ordered.

To make reservations, visit hotelcongress.com or call Cup Cafe at 520-798-1618.

Unplugged
118 East Congress Street

unplugged_extThere’s a Latin proverb that proclaims, “Without bread and wine, love goes hungry.” Unplugged is offering a four-course meal with enough bread and wine to feed all of the love Valentine’s Day has to offer. For $45, you can choose between two main entree options: seared sea scallops with creamy red wine and wild mushroom sauce in a puff pastry or Tiger Shrimps with fennel & orange zest accompanied with garlic mashed potatoes.

Unplugged has three dinner times to accommodate the early birds and the fashionably late:

Early Dinner from 5:00pm – 7:00pm
Dinner from 7:15pm – 9:15pm
Late Dinner from 9:30pm – 11:30pm
