Arizona Friends of Chamber Music
Arizona Friends of Chamber Music is a nonprofit organization presenting the world’s finest chamber music. The Evening Series of concerts are generally on Wednesdays at 8pm. Piano and Friends matinee concerts are on Sundays at 3pm. The Festival is a series of five formal concerts and other events the first week of March, including free open rehearsals, a gala benefit dinner with wonderful music by Festival musicians, a children’s concert and master classes.
Arizona Onstage Productions
This professional not-for-profit Actors’ Equity approved live theatre company brings musicals and dramatic/comedic works that are new, daring, edgy and exciting to Tucson. The Dambe Drum Ensemble
Performing traditional music, song and dance from Guinea and Mali, West Africa, the instruments include the Djembe, the Dununs, the Balaphone, and the Krin. The Ensemble has performed locally with renowned groups as The Refugee All-stars, The African Showboys, Cubanismo, The Cuban All Stars and Baaba Maal. The music is high energy, fluid and will inspire you to move and dance.
Flam Chen
A decade in the making, Flam Chen has amassed a repertoire of extreme theatre, new circus tactics, martial arts weaponry, all set in a medium of fire. Flam Chen creates unique panoramas of spectacle and narrative - performers spin Balinese fire chains, combat with fire staffs and flaming swords, dance with fire fingers and fire fans, eat and breathe flames, and light costume pieces, sculptures and very often the set itself ablaze during the course of the evening.
NEW ARTiculations Dance Theatre
NEW ARTiculations Dance Theatre has gained notable popularity for its performances of traditional modern, post modern, theatrical and interdisciplinary works. In addition to performances, it offers ongoing classes, workshops and choreographers’ showcases to support the creation of new work in the community.
Old Pueblo Playwrights
OPP is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging the creation of new dramatic works by Arizona authors. Its members are writers -both professional and aspiring - who meet weekly to hear readings of their works and to discuss those works critically. OPP membership is open to any interested writers of dramatic works for stage, film, radio, or television (as well as to any other artists in those disciplines).
O-T-O Dance
O-T-O Dance is a flying modern dance company created by Anne Bunker in 1985. We are based here in Tucson, (the Baked Apple), Arizona and perform all over the world. Recently, we have had the pleasure of working in Ireland, Mexico, Costa Rica, Ecuador and St. Petersburg Russia. O-T-O Dance is also Teaching Company, offering classes to individuals, schools and entire communities. The company participates in residency programs with The Arizona Commission on the Arts and The Tucson Pima Arts Council.

The Tucson Music Hall and Leo Rich Theater are two of the region’s preeminent arts venues, hosting performances by the Tucson Symphony Orchestra, Arizona Opera, Broadway in Tucson, Arizona Friends of Music and Borderlands Theater. In Addition to these facilities, the Tucson Arena hosts a variety of concerts, family shows and sporting events.
Tucson Jazz Society
The Tucson Jazz Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving America’s original music—jazz. The Society seeks to assure continuity of this music through concerts, festivals, media activities and youth programs. A major emphasis is to provide work for instrumentalists and vocalists through society-sponsored activities and joint ventures with allied cultural, educational, and commercial organizations throughout southern Arizona.

The Tucson Symphony Orchestra, founded in 1929, is one of the oldest major cultural institutions in Arizona and the largest employer of musicians in Tucson. The Tucson Symphony Orchestra serves Tucson and southern Arizona communities with classical music of the highest caliber.
