The reception, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm, will see Maggie Goldston reading from her accompanying chapbook, “There Are Things About Your Face I Know But Cannot See.”

Bohemia

299 S. Park Ave. (in the Lost Barrio), 882-0800. Hours: Monday-Saturday, 10:00am to 6:00pm and Sunday, 11:00am to 4:00pm. Gallery features gifts, goods and works of art created locally by over 120 artists, showcased in a unique indoor and outdoor setting. Every Saturday until December 20, Bohemia presents “Shopping Soirees” for the holiday season.  The events run from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm and include live music, massage, refreshments, giveaways and extended shopping hours.

Davis Dominguez Gallery

154 E. 6th St., 629-9759. Hours: Tuesday-Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday, 10:00am to 5:00pm. Running through December 27 are paintings by Andrew Polk and Mike Stack, with sculptures by Ken Jones.

Dinnerware Contemporary Art Gallery

Continuing through December 20 is “Introductions,” featuring Monika Dalkin’s ceramics and prints, and the photography of Janett Spittel and Jeremy Dyer. The Drawing Studio

Small Wonders 2003 – an exhibit and sale of small works in a variety of media by friends and associates of The Drawing Studio which runs through January 3. Proceeds directly benefit the studio’s educational programs.

Epic Café

Gallery in Hotel Congress

In the lobby and the Cup Café at Hotel Congress, 311 E. Congress St., 622-8848. Hours: daily, all day. Opening Saturday, December 20 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm is a fundraiser for the Food Bank and Big Brothers, Big Sisters with work by Steven Derks, Kristin Giordano, Rosanna Salonia, Matt Cotton, Catherine Eyde and Gwyneth Scally.

Joseph Gross and Lionel Rombach Galleries

The University of Arizona School of Art, located at Speedway Blvd. and Park Ave., (across from the UA Museum of Art), 626-4215. Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00am to 5:00pm, and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00pm. At the Gross gallery is the BFA, BA senior exhibition. The Rombach gallery hosts photographer Willy Macekroy’s honor thesis.

Piney Hollow

The work can be viewed through the windows of the old Thrifty building on Congress Street between Scott Street and Stone Avenue. The Modern Hand
