El Presidio Historic 1900 Festival & Neighborhood Open House

Granada from Alameda to St. Mary’s
Time: 11:00am-5:00pm. Admission: $15. Journey back in time and discover Tucson as it was in 1900 with horse drawn carriages and live music from the time. With the purchase of a ticket, guests will be able to visit 14 significant properties within the El Presidio historic neighborhood.  Five cafés will be set up in the neighborhood and will feature unique cuisine from locally owned restaurants. El Presidio Historic Preservation Commission, Inc (EPHPC) sponsors this annual Festival. The proceeds earned from this event will be used to construct and sponsor a community wide not-for-profit web site, www.TucsonHistory.com, designed to capture all of Tucson’s colorful history including its pioneers, architecture, culture, oral histories, community links, and neighborhood events.

Idointucson.com Monthly Bridal Fair

Time: Noon-3:00pm. Admission: Call. This monthly event features all you need to know when planning your wedding. Due to the El Presidio 1900 Festival, Granada will be closed. Ponies del Pueblo Auction

Cultural Craft Saturday

Bicycle Art Auction

Come bid on jewelry made of bike chains, chairs made of inner tubes, paintings of bicycles in action, intricate toys are much more made from bicycle parts and home-grown creativity. Open Studio Tour

Artists’ studios, not normally available to the public, are open during this exceptional downtown tour, which takes place only twice a year, traditionally November and March. Scooter Rally: 16th Annual Tucson-Nogales Fall Classic

Historic Walking Tours

Time: 8:45am-10:30am. Admission: $5. The walking tours provide participants with a history of Tucson, its buildings (that are often closed to the public), and its growth. On November 8, explore the Historic Warehouse District. On November 22, the walking tour will cover Armory Park and the Railroad District. RSVP is required by calling 624-9977.
