Sponsored by The Post Lofts, the Tucson Citizen and Hotel Congress, the second annual EAT DOWNTOWN is an opportunity for people throughout the city to experience an outstanding variety of Downtown’s culinary treasures and meet some of Tucson’s most talented chefs. All involved in Eat Downtown are committed to the future of a thriving, revitalized Downtown Tucson.

EAT DOWNTOWN will feature tastings of signature dishes from each restaurant, complimentary wine sampling courtesy of Alliance Beverage and live music. Participating restaurants to date include Athens on Fourth, Art’s BBQ Restaurant, Barrio, Café A La C’Art, Casa Vicente, Chris’ Café, Cup Café, Cushing Street Bar & Restaurant, El Minuto Café, Enoteca and On a Roll.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). Last year’s sold-out event drew more than 300 people and was one of the most popular culinary events of the year. Tickets are $40 and may be purchased at participating restaurants, the Hotel Congress box office or online at TicketWeb.

ATHENS ON FOURTH
– Spanakopita - Fresh baby spinach sautéed with fresh herbs, extra virgin olive oil, and feta, Baked between layers of filo pastry.
– Baklava - Walnuts spiced with cinnamon baked between layers of filo dough and finished with a lemon-infused honey syrup.

– Chipotle Honey BQ Baby Back Ribs.

– Brochette with Goat Cheese, Roasted Red Peppers & Eggplant Caviar.
