New Interactive Exhibit – I am Tucson
September 7, 2015 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm| $1 - $8
I am Tucson is an exhibit that invites you to share your impressions and experiences of living in Southern Arizona. This non-traditional exhibit tells the story of Tucson in the words and drawings of those who live here both past and present.
Impressions of Tucson range from an observer in the mid 1800’s who called Tucson “a paradise of devils” to a modern observer who likes everything about Tucson. Visit the museum and add your voice to I am Tucson.
Exhibit includes: A place to draw your personal map of Tucson and add it to the display, several Fitz cartoons (David Fitzsimmons, Arizona Daily Star editorial cartoonist) with an area for visitors to add copies of their personal favorite Fitz cartoons, a photomural of a vintage streetcar to pose in front of, and a crossword puzzle to test your knowledge of Tucson. See the event onFacebook!
