Spooktacular Science at Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium
October 30, 2015 @ 5:00 pm
The beakers are bubbling again for our annual Spooktacular Science weekend at the Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium.
We’ll have frightfully fun activities from UA student science groups, as well as slippery slime, squid dissections, liquid nitrogen, arts and crafts, and Halloween Treats & Trinkets! And we’ll be showing our Halloween laser light show favorite “Fright Lights” in the planetarium theater. This event is sure to deliver haunted holiday high jinks for the whole family.
When you visit you can also see one of the amazing Flandrau FullDome shows in the planetarium theater. The FullDome projection system covers the whole planetarium dome in high-resolution imagery. You’ll feel like you’re orbiting the Earth and flying through space to visit the planets!
The Spooktacular festivities will take place over Halloween weekend, starting on Friday, October 30 and continuing through Saturday, Oct 31 and Sunday, November 1. Come in costume and receive 25% off your admission!
