Mosaic Masterpiece Summer Camp
During this two day summer camp experience at the Sonoran Glass School, campers will spend time learning the joys of mosaics. On day one, students will choose between one of two projects: a mirror project (12×12 base with a 6×6 mirror) or a 12×12 stepping stone for your garden or yard. Then, students will create their design, learn how to cut sheet glass, and begin filling the space with colored glass. On day two, students will continue working on their mosaic designs, then learn to grout their project and finally, polish it to make it sparkle! Projects will be ready to take home on the second day of camp. Closed toed shoes are required for all participants! We provide eye protection and all supplies. Students can bring snacks and water bottles, no meals provided. Ages 7-18; each session will be limited to 6 students. Camp fee is $300.
