CELEBRATE NEW YEAR’S EVE IN TUCSON’S HISTORIC ENTERTAINMENT DISTRICT
This family-friendly and alcohol-free festival brings together Tucsonans of all ages in a welcoming and safe atmosphere to enjoy Tucson’s top musical acts, multicultural music, art, dance, comedy, magic, children’s activities and more! There are more than 50 live acts!

An exciting fireworks show will be launched from the TCC Plaza (outside Tucson Music Hall). Join us in the plaza for the best view! It’s FREE.
FIRST NIGHT takes place at eleven locations in Downtown Tucson!
Venues that require admission
Armory Park Center, Beowulf Alley Theatre, Fox Tucson Theatre, Leo Rich Theatre, Scottish Rite Cathedral, The Screening Room, & Tucson Museum of Art (galleries) are ticketed venues and require an admission button to get inside.
Free venues
El Centro Cultural de las Americas, La Placita Village, TCC Plaza, Tucson Children’s Museum & Tucson Museum of Art (outside entertainment only) are FREE venues and do not require a button to enjoy the entertainment and activities.
Colorful FIRST NIGHT admission buttons are to be worn during the festival to gain entry into ticketed venues.
Buttons are $12 for adults, $6 for children 6-12 and free for little ones 5 and younger. Paid admission allows entry into ALL venues. Buttons are on sale at Bookmans, TCC box office, Fox Theatre box office.
Seating in First Night venues is first come, first seated. Reserved seating is not available. Theatres that fill to capacity will be cleared in between shows to allow those waiting in line to enter for the next show. Audiences enjoy shows at one venue if preferred (joining the entry line before each performance) or visit multiple venues. Only one admission button is required per person to access all ticketed venues.
FIRST NIGHT is alcohol-free to maintain a family-friendly atmosphere.
Hot and cold beverages and food will be for sale outside the Scottish Rite Cathedral, outside of the Tucson Children’s Museum and in TCC Plaza. Plus, many Downtown restaurants will also be open offering diverse dining options!

Need assistance at the festival? Volunteers will be stationed throughout Downtown to answer questions and offer directions. Look for them in FIRST NIGHT t-shirts with blinking lighted pins.
