Details

Stone Plaza is the doorstep to Pima County's 33 N Stone office building, located at the southwest corner of Stone Avenue and Pennington Street. The Downtown Tucson Partnership partners with the County to activate this public space with bistro tables and chairs, beautiful planters and signage. The space is a popular lunchtime spot for County and other downtown employees. The plaza is perfect for outdoor meetings and coffee breaks with two coffee shops just footsteps away. The 262 ft. tall building provides its own shade in addition to large Mesquite trees. Bistro tables and chairs are setup and broken down each morning and early evening.

The 33 N Stone office building (former "Bank of America Building") is home to hundreds of County employees working in departments related to Analytics and Data Governance, the Board of Supervisors, the Clerk of the Board, Environmental Quality, Finance, Information Technology, the Public Defender and the Superior Court. Local businesses including Baggins, Eleven Café and QuikPrint populate three ground floor retail spaces located along Pennington Street. A Bank of America ATM machine is located on the south side of the building along Stone Avenue.
