Underpass images

The media and spectators were out in full force as Mayor Bob Walkup drove a trolley full of dignitaries through the newly opened Fourth Avenue Underpass to break the ribbon at 4:51 Thursday afternoon, Aug. 20. Then the trolley made its first loop through Downtown, before breaking another ribbon heading back up Fourth Avenue. Check back for more photos of all the Downtown festivities celebrating the Underpass opening and Tucson’s 234th birthday!
