Applications Now Open for Tucson Meet Yourself Food Vendors

Applications are now open for food vendors for the 39th Annual Tucson Meet Yourself Folklife Festival running October 12 through the 14. Every year, Tucson Meet Yourself selects and invites Food Vendors to the Festival based on their connection to their cultural cuisine and to the traditional foods of their folk & ethnic communities.

Ethnic clubs, non-profits, family groups and locally owned ethnic and regional food entrepreneurs and cooks are invited to apply to be a vendor. Food vendor guidelines are available here (pdf). The deadline to apply is May 30.

Returning vendors must re-apply every year, and previous participation in not a guarantee of a return invitation. The criteria for vendor selection is available in the guidelines.

Complete payment of fees must be received by May 30th before applications are considered. Requests for location preference will be considered in the order received.

Food Vendor Information Meetings will be held on Saturday, April 28th 10am – 11:30am  and Tuesday, May 1st  6pm – 7:30pm at Ward 6 City Council Office, 3201 E. 1st Street (rear entrance). At the meetings, vendors will have the opportunity to review vendor guidelines with Tucson Meet Yourself staff and receive application assistance and pay vendor fees via check, cash or credit card.
