Coach Lute Olson will join his former players from the 1997 NCAA championship team to watch the replay of the final game versus the Kentucky Wildcats at the Fox Theatre. NBA star Jason Terry, Miles Simon, Eugene Edgerson, Michael Dickerson, A.J. Bramlett, Bennett Davison, John Ash, Donnell Harris, Jason Stewart, Justin Wessel, Jason Lee, and Quynn Tebbs will all be in attendance to discuss the game and their thoughts during halftime.

$25 tickets are on sale here. Just a few $100 VIP tickets remain.

“It is exciting to have Coach Olson and nearly the entire team reunite and celebrate the championship,” said Joseph Blair, former UA player and CEO of the Blair Charity Group. “It is even more thrilling that we’re able to use this game to bring more dollars to help our Tucson community.”

Wildcat fans will get to relive the fast-paced, nail-biting game when U of A captured the 1997 NCAA National Championship. Fans can join cheerleaders and cheer along with the team and scream at those officials as you enjoy popcorn and refreshments. Competitions and raffle prizes will also be part of the fun.

“Primavera is excited to be co-hosting this event,” said Michael Finkelstein, Primavera’s Chief Development Officer. “All of the dollars earned will be used to help people on their pathway out of poverty. It is amazing that these players and Coach Olson are so generous with their time and willing to help make Tucson a better place for everybody.”

All proceeds will go to Primavera Foundation and Blair Charity Group to improve Tucson and provide pathways out of poverty. Find out more at primavera.org and blaircharitygroup.org.
