This Labor Day weekend will mark Hotel Congress’ 30th anniversary and they’re celebrating with three jam-packed days of music. From September 4 through September 6, Hotel Congress will host HoCo Fest, a Tucson music festival featuring over 40 musical acts who boast both local and national popularity.

“It’s all about the music and celebrating 30 years of Tucson’s music history,” says David Slutes, Entertainment & Booking Director at Hotel Congress.

Over ten reunion shows will take the stage Labor Day weekend at Hotel Congress, treating HoCo Fest attendees to a little nostalgia with music spanning four decades and with roots in the Old Pueblo. This year’s Hoco Fest will also be introducing the first Tucson Rock N’ Roll Museum exhibit, showcasing local memorabilia, pop-up displays, videos and more in the Copper Hall and lobby of Hotel Congress.

Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Chick Cashman featuring Ron Reyes (Black Flag), Cracker, and Chica Dust, are just some of the musical acts that will kick off HoCo Fest on Friday, September 4. Doors will open at 6 p.m. where there will be food and drink specials. Tacos, barbecue and Roger Clyne’s Mexican Moonshine Tequila will also be making an appearance, creating the perfect food and drink trifecta to accompany some great music.
