Hydra’s beautiful windows are ready for the holidays.

Enter a winter wonderland during 2nd Saturdays Downtown in November! Tucson’s largest family friendly monthly urban festival will embrace the holiday season, with shining light displays, festive store windows, and kids singing carols strolling the street. As always, live music, street performers, and vendors will be out in force, and the 94.9 MIXfm Stage at Scott and Congress will have music from local bands including The Rifle, Louise Le Hir, and Emory..

In addition to regular programming, this month the Downtown Tucson Partnership and 2nd Saturdays are conducting their annual Downtown Holiday Window Decorating Contest. Downtown businesses compete for fabulous prizes for the best holiday displays in their storefront, adding to the already festive atmosphere created by 100+ large holiday lights that decorate the street. Guest judges including KGUN9’s Ken Carr and muralist Joe Pagac will decide the winners, who will be announced between 7:30-8pm on the Scott Ave. stage.
