Confluencenter Research Showcase

April 21, 2016 @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm

| Free

UA’s Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry celebrates interdisciplinary research with an afternoon of presentations, exhibits and a reception. Venture into “Virtual Harlem,” take a trip back into Tucson’s history with “Barrio Stories Project,” and pursue “Pancho Villa’s Myth” – along with other fascinating projects – to learn how Confluencenter advances creative scholarship. The Confluencenter brings together the colleges of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social and Behavioral Sciences to create world-class collaborations that address grand challenges in our community and beyond.

The Confluencenter encourages attendees to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the UA Campus Pantry, a food bank for students that strives to reduce food insecurity on campus.
