Cooking Classes with Judith Baigent King

Judith Baigent King, owned and operated Culinary Concepts for sixteen successful years, and still has quite a loyal following. For the past few years Judith has taught classes during the summer in Pinetop, Arizona.  She is thrilled to be teaching in Tucson again. A series of three classes titled Menus for the Special Occasion Gourmet, she will share her wonderful ideas for stress free home entertaining.

Nov 15Make these dishes impressive dishes ahead of time and enjoy your own party. Pear and Persimmon Salad with D’Anjou Pear Vinaigrette; Phyllo Wrapped Salmon with Leeks and Peppers; Roasted Red Pepper Sauce; Steamed Green Vegetables with Pistachio-Lime Butter; and Raspberry Vacherin drizzled with Cabernet-Raspberry Essence


Dec 13 –  Recipes that take you out of the kitchen so you can enjoy sharing good food with friends and family which you have prepared ahead of time:  Smoked Fish and White Bean Bouillabaisse with Chile-Garlic Bread;

Prosciutto-Wrapped Pork Loin with Roasted Apples; Sweet Potato Gnocchi with Fried Sage and Chestnuts; Orange Glazed Asparagus; Meringue Roulade with Hazelnuts and Berries.

Jan 17 – This menu is all about comfort food.  Roasted Pepper, Perlini and Arugula Salad with Fresh Mint Dressing; Cornish Game Hens with Dried Fruit and Honey; Creamy Polenta; Sautéed Zucchini with Preserved Lemon; Passionfruit Panna Cotta with ‘Bubble Bombs’ and Cardamom Crescent Cookies.
