Join us for monthly poetry discussions, led by docents from the UA Poetry Center. The event is free, and no preparation or knowledge of poetry is necessary.

Everyone is welcome to attend as we read from favorite poets, learn about new poets and share our views. Each participant will receive a packet of the poems to be read and discussed, sourced from the Poetry Center’s world-renowned collection.

On November 17th, we will read and discuss the work of Maggie Smith, poet, freelance writer, and editor. Her work has been widely anthologized in “From the Other World: Poems in Memory of James WrightThe Year’s Best Fantasy & Horror 2008Apocalypse Now: Poems and Prose from the End of Days, and The Helen Burns Anthology: New Voices from the Academy of American Poets University & College Prizes, Volume 9.
