The Meth Epidemic (Documentary)

June 9, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

| Free

Join us for a screening of the Frontline film The Meth Epidemic, 55 min.

Starting as a fad among West Coast motorcycle gangs in the 1970s, methamphetamine quickly spread across the United States. These days, meth remains as potent and widespread as ever.

Food for Thought is a Main Library program of guest speakers, book club meetings, TEDtalks, and short films and documentaries from our PBS and InstantFlix video streaming services. We meet in the Lower Level Meeting Room Thursdays at noon. A two-hour free parking validation is available for the garage directly below the library. Bring your lunch if you wish. Light refreshments provided.
