Movie Night at the Presidio Museum: The Mask of Zorro

The Mask of Zorro will be shown on Saturday, Aug. 8, at 7:30 pm.  In addition, a Mexican paper craft hour will begin at 6:30 pm prior to the showing of the movie.  Starring Antonio Banderas, Anthony Hopkins, and Catherine Zeta-Jones, The Mask of Zorrotells the story of an aging Zorro training a young thief, both of them seeking vengeance for their own reasons. The movie run time is one hour and 49 minutes, and there is no charge for the movie or the craft hour. Donations are appreciated.  Pre-registration is required to keep attendance below 50.  Masks and social distancing will also be required. See the museum’s Covid-19 policies at https://tucsonpresidio.com/content/covid-19-policies.

DISCLAIMER: The mission of the Presidio Museum is to provide factual education related to Tucson’s history and multi-cultural heritage. It focuses on sharing these stories from many different cultural points of view.  However, the Museum will be offering outdoor evening movies purely for entertainment value.   These movies are not a totally accurate reflection of local history.
