Join Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry and our host Petroglyphs – Furniture, Lighting, Accents for Show & Tell: MalintZINE, MAS y Más. This Show & Tell highlights young women, queer, femme contributions to Tucson youth activism, especially in the fight for ethnic studies and in youth participatory action research nationally. Presenters will share the violence they experienced in activist work and a transformative justice framework to address it.

Show & Tell is proud to feature:

“malintZINE: Feminist Fight for Ethnic Studies” by Kim Dominguez of Women & Gender Resource Center UA

Additional contributions by Vanessa Ojeda-Gomez of Women & Gender Resource Center UA on the legacy of this ongoing activism, and contributors to malintZINE.

Hosted by our emcee, Dr. Lydia R Otero of University of Arizona – Mexican American Studies, and featuring a local music act to kick things off, this will be sure to be a challenging and important night. Come by and learn something!
