Skillfully Aware – Tools for Transformation – A 6-week Workshop for Overcoming Stress, Strong Emotions or Urges

September 18, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Stress degrades both mental and physical health. Stress-related patterns are traceable to a mental state called “attentional fixation.” Simply put, when you’re stuck in your head.

Fixated people often miss much of what’s going on in the present moment. They lose track of their values, agreements, integrity, intentions, and emotions, all of which worsens stress.

Fixation leads to automatic and repetitious patterns of thinking and behavior. Patterns of fixation make it difficult, if not impossible to change or heal.

The good news is that patterns of fixation can be broken!

Dr. Pirtle created Skillfully Aware for guests and patients at some of the most exclusive private resorts & recovery centers in the world. Now you can experience this same program at a fraction of the cost.

Couples/Friends/Parents save an additional $100 of EACH.

Call our office at 520-795-3563 or email us at:  info@skillfullyaware.com.  We are happy to provide our non-profit rate and other scholarship opportunities.  No one will be turned away due to an inability to pay.

About Dr. Mark Pirtle:

Dr. Pirtle is a clinician, teacher, speaker, and filmmaker. He completed his doctor of physical therapy degree (with distinction) from Northern Arizona University. Subsequently, he became deeply interested in Buddhist psychology as it applies to healing stress-related illnesses. Connecting the dots between the modern science of “self-making” systems and the practice of mindfulness meditation, he developed an evidence-based program for treating stress-related illnesses he calls Skillfully Aware®. Dr. Pirtle teaches for the Center for Integrative Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Arizona.  His documentary film, Is Your Story Making You Sick?, will release in film festivals around the world in 2018.
