Symposium on the Benefits of Compassion Meditation

What happens when an a psychiatrist, an astrophysicist and a former Tibetan Buddhist monk/psychologist come together to talk about how dialog between Western scientists and Tibetan Buddhists can help science to better address global problems?

Center for Compassion Studies founding Director Charles Raison, MD returns for an afternoon panel discussion on compassion research and meditation practice with Lobsang Rapgay, Ph.D, Director, Behavioral Medicine Clinic and Program, UCLA Semel Institute, and Chris Impey, Ph.D, Associate Dean of the UA College of Science.

Doors open at 4 pm, Sunday, March 26, 2017

Your $125 donation payable to Arizona Friends of Tibet benefits the U of A Center for Compassion Studies community outreach efforts. This includes delicious finger foods and non-alcoholic drinks. ($25 of your donation is non-tax deductible to cover food and drinks). The remaining $100 is a tax-deductible donation. A cash bar will be available at the reception following the Symposium.
