Xerocraft: Creations on Display

July 6 - July 31

| Free

Do you love to build things? Do you have something to fix or want to learn a new skill? Then Xerocraft Makerspace is a resource you need to know about!

Xerocraft is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tool library, idea incubator and STEAM educator. We offer an ever-expanding library of diverse tools for the Tucson community to build just about anything. We offer classic tools like lathes, welders and table saws along with cutting-edge technology like 3D printers, CNC routers and laser cutters. We hold regular classes to teach Tucsonans how to use our tools safely and knowledgeably. Often when someone wants to build or repair something, there’s a barrier in the way. Usually it’s his or her lack of access to a specific tool because it’s large or expensive. Xerocraft eliminates that barrier and lets the creativity flow.

Xerocraft creations will be displayed in the glass cases and on the wooden towers of the Joel D. Valdez Main Library July 1-31, 2017, during regular library hours.
